Come meet local authors in library meeting room! Purchase one of their books and they will sign it for you. Authors signed up are Marti Healy, Kathy Widener, Ulla Ringle, and Lynette Kruse.

Marti Healy will do a presentation on careers in writing at noon. Marti Healy was a professional award-winning copywriter for longer than 30 years. The majority of this time was spent with The Design Group, Inc., a total communications firm, where she served as vice president and senior writer.

She has been a contributing columnist for The Aiken Standard daily newspaper, for Bella lifestyle magazine and other area publications, and syndicated to select publications around the country.

Marti is a popular speaker on the topic of her books as well as her columns and on writing in general. She has appeared on numerous television talk shows, online podcasts, radio, and special features on news broadcasts throughout the southeast.

At 1 PM, Ulla Ringle will read and sign her illustrated book “Rhama, the Elephant from the Taste of Paradise Island”. It is the story of a baby elephant, rescued out of a well and ending up in an orphanage. “Rhama” will become famous on the Island of Ceylon.
